Actually, during the uproar on DND on Saturday, a policeman caught Priyanka Gandhi’s kurta and misbehaved. Priyanka was going to Hathras from Delhi along with Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders during that time. After that, the picture is becoming viral on social media. Meanwhile, during the visit of Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to Hathras on Saturday, a case has been registered against about 500 people for the alleged commotion of party workers at DND flyover here. A senior police officer gave this information on Sunday. The case was registered in the police station sector-20 late Saturday for allegedly violating section 144 on Congress workers and under the Pandemic Act. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone I, Rannvijay Singh said that many party leaders including former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had reached DND flyover from Delhi to visit Hathras on Saturday. Five people, including Rahul, were allowed to go to Hathras after a furor between the Congress workers and the police.
Additional Deputy Commissioner said that due to this, around four-five hundred activists including Manoj Chaudhary, President of Gautam Buddha Nagar District Unit of the Congress created a ruckus and violated Section 144 and Pandemic Act.
He said that the police is investigating the case by registering a report of the incident. It is noteworthy that at the time of Rahul and Priyanka’s departure for Hathras, there was a huge uproar on the Delhi-UP border.
