With this, the process of filing nomination papers will begin. In the second phase, elections will be held in the assembly constituencies of 17 districts. Nomination papers will be filed by 16 October. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on October 17. October 19 is the last date for withdrawal of nomination.
Voting for the second phase election will take place on November 3. The counting of votes will take place on 10 November. The election will be in West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Vaishali, Begusarai, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Nalanda, and Patna.
Online nominations are also being filed for the first time in Bihar assembly elections.
So far, ten candidates have filed online nomination papers. Along with all these nomination papers, the bail amount has also been deposited online. Two of these have also submitted a hard copy of the nomination letter to the electoral officer. Bihar Chief Electoral Officer HR Srinivas said that a provision has also been made to file nomination for Corona online. For this, nomination papers have also been made available on the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar, and the website of the District Election Officer. For the first time in Bihar, a provision has been made for filing nominations online in elections. Former Bihar DGP Abhayanand and the founder of Super 30 have made a big statement about Bihar elections. The former DGP has said that there should not be caste or relationship in the politics of vote. On the strategy of Bhumihar Brahmin society, Abhayanand said that society should not be bound by any single party or alliance. On the rationale of the recently formed governing body in Bihar, Bhumihar Samaj said that it is necessary to show the right direction to the society.
