Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist) Lucknow: At the national level, the North Eastern Railway Lucknow has received the National Energy Conservation Award from the ‘Bureau of Energy Efficiency’. According to railway spokesperson, Mahesh Gupta won the award in building categories (government offices) for energy conservation through solar generation and for the use of energy-efficient products like energy-efficient AC, LED lights, occupancy sensors.
On the other hand, Divisional Railway Manager Office of North Eastern Railway, Lucknow was awarded first prize in Uttar Pradesh for commendable and effective work in ‘Government Building Cadre’, which was announced by the Minister of Energy and Additional Energy Sources, Shrikant Sharma. Divisional Railway Manager Dr. Monika Agnihotri expressed happiness and congratulated Dhananjay Mishra, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer of the Department of Power, and his team.
