(Pooja Dubey, Intern Journalist) Rajasthan: The party has been issued notice to Sachin Pilot and 18 other leaders who were absent from the Congress Legislature Party meeting in Rajasthan.
Avinash Pandey, in-charge of Rajasthan Congress gave this information on Wednesday. Pandey said, “if these people do not respond to the notice within two days, then their membership of Congress Legislature Party will be considered”. Pilot, who was the former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, was removed from the post and head of the State Congress Committee on Tuesday.
Assembly speaker CP Joshi on Wednesday issued notice to 19 disgruntled MLAs, including Pilot, on the complaint of the Congress and sought their reply by Friday. The notice has asked why they should not be disqualified for anti-party activities and not attending two meetings of Congress MLAs.
Avinash Pandey tweeted on Wednesday that,” the party’s doors have not been closed for Sachin Pilot. May God give them wisdom. He understood his mistake. I pray that he comes out of the elusive trap of BJP”.
