They will get a progress card in their place. Now it depends on the students what subject they want to take, now they can also take music along with engineering.
He said that with the new education there will be many changes in higher education. Online education will be promoted in the new education policy. We have formed a commission for higher education. Four councils have also been formed for this. He said that we have changed not only the name of the Ministry of Human Resources but also the policy.
HRD Minister said that with the new education policy, we will make a policy of sacramental education. With this, we will move towards the education policy of world-class.
For the first time after 34 years in India, the new education policy has been approved by the Cabinet. In this, the government has made many important changes regarding higher education and school education. The government will now prepare a new National Curriculum Framework. ECE, schools, teachers, and adult education will be added to it. The board exam will be divided into sections. Now to reduce the stress of two board exams, the board can also conduct the exam three times.
Apart from this, now life skills will be added to the report card of children. For example, if you have learned something employable in school, then it will find a place in your report card, so that life skills will also develop in children. Till now there was no such provision in the report card.
