(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) The government of Odisha has lifted the shutdown in seven cities where the exam of JEE and NEET will be held on the state.
The information regarding the lifting of a shutdown on seven cities was issued after the chief secretary A.K Tripathy on Friday announced the government to provide free transport for the student appearing for JEE and NEET.
The police commissioner has released several guidelines to be followed to hold smooth conduct for the exams.
No lockdown or shutdown will be held from 30 August to 7th September and from 9 September to 14 September.
Currently, there had been held the Bi-weekly shutdown in four districts Cuttack, Khurda, Ganjam, Gajapati, and the Rourkela town to control the Covid-19 cases.
