(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: On the order of IG, a campaign was being carried out against those who strictly violated masks and social distancing in the city. Around 5000 invoices were being received daily. The campaign has come to a standstill for the last 15 days. The number of corona virus-infected has increased rapidly.
But top officials are carefree. This is the reason that every fourth man on the street will be seen without you wearing a mask. On the other hand, the police claim that the challans of the people going out of the house without masks are constantly chased.
Every tenth two-wheeler driver who leaves every intersection is driving without a mask. City IG said, “Action will be taken again by campaigning on masks and social distancing. There will be surveillance especially in the ravaged area.” Kanpur SP traffic said, “The traffic police also make people aware and invoices. Well, people should be cautious because wearing a mask is a safety issue.”
