So far the security forces have succeeded in killing a terrorist. A rifle and other ammunition have been recovered from the slain terrorist.
According to information received from the army, security forces were reported to be hiding in a hideout of militants on Saturday morning in Larnu in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. On this basis, the security forces started a search operation in Larnu village. Meanwhile, terrorists hiding in a hideout started firing on the security forces. The security forces immediately started firing on the terrorists, taking the front. Firing continued on both sides for a long time. The security forces asked the militants to surrender during this period but the terrorists ignored it and continued firing on the security forces.

The security forces have succeeded in killing a terrorist in the ongoing firing from both sides. An AK rifle and other items were recovered from his possession. The remaining terrorists managed to escape from the encounter site.
