(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh’s government took a unique step, introducing two mediums in a single textbook. All the subject books from grades 1-6 are printed in such a way that the lessons on one side are printed in Telugu while the lessons are printed in English on the other side. For the first time in the history of Andhra Pradesh, the government chaired by YS Jagan took this Unique decision which will improve students for the better.
Apart from languages i.e English and Telugu, all the other subject related books are printed in both English and Telugu. More than half of the total books were already printed and sent to the respective government institutions. They are left to be distributed to students.
