(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Ghana has observed a growth of infections in the Healthcare workers. Over 2000 health care workers were seen infected with the virus sin the outbreak, according to the health service of Ghana.
Six have died from the infected ones, five were still in clinical practice.
Due to the shortage of equipment it have been difficult for the workers to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus .
The President of Ghana has address the nation that he would add incentives to the medical professionals with enough supply of the PPE kit looking to the hard work done by the healthcare workers an additional 50% allowance to be provided with their salary. Now they have observed a control in infections and 90% of healthcare workers has been recovered
