(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) Mumbai: The NCP has said it will support the BJP if it wants to merge Pakistan and Bangladesh with India. NCP leader and minister Nawab Malik said they welcomed former CM Devendra Fadnavis’ remarks that Karachi would be part of India. Responding to Fadnavis’ remarks, Malik told a conference on Sunday that “Pakistan and Bangladesh also want to be integrated into India.” If the Berlin Wall could be torn down, why wouldn’t Pakistan and Bangladesh merge with India? If the BJP wants to combine the three into one country, we welcome it.
He also announced that he would contest the Mumbai Municipal Council (BMC) meeting with the Shiv Sena. He said there were still 15 months to go before the elections and that everyone had the right to strengthen their respective parties. Malik said they were also preparing to strengthen their party and hoped to contest together if the Shiv Sena wanted.
