(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); India on Thursday rejected Pakistan’s (Pakistan) criticism of the foundation stone of the Ram temple (Ayodhya) in Ayodhya (Ayodhya) and asked the neighboring country to avoid ‘inciting communal sentiment’. Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava also asked Pakistan to abstain from interfering in India’s affairs.
Srivastava said, “We have seen the press statement of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on India’s internal affairs. It should abstain from interfering in the affairs of India and avoid inciting communal sentiments.” He further added, “This is not surprising in relation to a country which adheres to cross-border terrorism and deprives its own minorities of religious rights.” He said that such remarks are reprehensible. It is noteworthy that Pakistan on Wednesday criticized the Bhoomipujan and foundation stone of Ram temple.
