(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): Chief Conservator of Pakistan Hindu Council Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has appealed to Imran Khan’s government to help take the case of the death of 11 Pakistani Hindus to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Jodhpur. Addressing a press conference after a two-day sit-in outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, Vankwani said, “I will soon turn to the ICJ against India regarding the assassination.”
The Hindu community staged a sit-in protest in Pakistan along with members of the victim’s families. He rejected India’s claims of committing mass suicide. The protesters ended the sit-in demanding that the case be taken to the ICJ. It is noteworthy that 11 Pakistani Hindus were found dead under mysterious circumstances on 9 August in Jodhpur.
