(Pooja Dubey, Intern journalist) Delhi- 31 people, including some girls, have been detained in police raids in a club located in Paschim Vihar area of Delhi. They all gathered late at night in this club. The owner of the club has also been detained. The police have registered a case against all and got involved in the investigation.
Due to Corona in the capital of the country, the government has banned the gathering of people in all kinds of restaurants, bars, and clubs, but in spite of this, these people join the club, putting their own lives and others’ lives at risk.
Paschim Vihar (East) police station raided the club and arrested 7 girls and 24 boys. At the same time, a case has been registered against club owner Lavish Luthra under several sections for gathering people in Corona period and risking the lives of people.
A case has been registered against the boys and girls under custody under section 188. Currently all the accused are in police custody and the police is investigating the case.
