(Kajal Singh intern journalist):
Yogpeeth General Minister said that this certificate would be required to sell anything in Arab countries Detailed,
Patanjali Yogpeeth of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev in Haridwar has clarified his stand on the Halal certificate. Acharya Balakrishna, general minister of Yogpeeth, said that multinational companies in India are promoting that Swami Ramdev’s Patanjali Pratishthan has taken Halal certificate for export of halal meat. This is actually propaganda. Companies want Patanjali’s production in India to stop selling. In fact, this certificate has been taken for the export of Ayurvedic medicines in Arab countries.
This certificate has nothing to do with the distribution of medicines in India. Speaking to journalists at Divya Yoga Temple in Kankhal on Tuesday, Acharya Balakrishna said that if any country in the world has to sell any goods in Arab countries, then Halal certificate has been made mandatory in those countries. This certificate is not only for halal meat but for any substance or item.
Acharya Balakrishna told that this certificate is also required for exporting any kind of Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, or Allopathic medicine. Patanjali has a huge demand for Ayurvedic medicines and herbal products in Arab countries.
For this reason, Patanjali obtained the Halal certificate for export to Arab countries. Acharya Balakrishna said that Patanjali’s production is entirely based on vegetarian substances and Ayurvedic herbs. This is our goal.
