New Delhi: (Geetesh Ujjainwal, Intern Journalist) A patient admitted to the AIIMS hospital allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the grill of a window at the bathroom on Thursday morning.
Doctors say that the man was undergoing treatment for a prolonged period and might have gone into depression because of the treatment. No suicide notes were found from him.
The incident was reported around 5 am when the hospital staff noticed the man, Rajmani Sattar hanging from the grill of a window at the bathroom using a piece of cloth.
The body sent for an autopsy at the AIIMS mortuary and an inquiry has been initiated. According to police, no foul play has been noticed in the incident.
