(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist) Patna: Patna police have started their preparations for the upcoming assembly election. In this regard, Patna IG Sanjay Singh has given the necessary instructions to all police officers in a meeting. He has clarified that criminals whose warrants are pending for six months should be arrested immediately.
Apart from this, instructions have also been given to immediately execute the pending attachment-seizure. A special police team will work to apprehend the criminals who have been absconding for six months. The police will prepare a list of people whose record was poor during the election. The IG himself will monitor everything. These instructions have been issued to the SPs of Patna and Nalanda district.
