(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist) Patna: DM Kumar Ravi has ordered the lockdown to be implemented in Patna district by July 16, following a rising outbreak of coronavirus infection. This order will be effective from July 10. Meanwhile, a lockdown has been ordered from 10 to 12 July in Nawada and Buxar district. People can do the necessary words on Thursday. The markets will be completely closed from Friday.
DM has ordered the closure of al government and private institutions, but the essential service related offices will remain open. The administration has fixed the time period for opening fruit, vegetable, milk, meat-fish, and grocery stores. These shops will be open from 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm, so that people can buy the goods they need.
DM said that it has been appealed to the people to shop for essential items from nearby shops so that they don’t have to enter the market. He even told that coronavirus infection is spreading at a very fast rate, so it is necessary to have a lockdown. The administration will take strict actions against people who are being negligent and are becoming carriers of spreading infection.
