Pesarattu is made from green moong dal, which is eaten anytime at snack and breakfast. You will definitely like this dosa made in the Andhra style. So whenever you feel like eating something different, try it.
- Ingredients
2 cups moong dal (Washed and soaked for at least one hour)
1/2 cup rice (washed and soaked for at least one hour
Green chili as per taste
4 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp salt
¼ cup coriander leaves
4 cups onion
Oil for frying
- Method
Grind the lentils with water. Add green chili, salt, coriander, onion and grind them well. The mixture should not be too thick.
Now heat the griddle and pour some water over it. Immediately pour the mixture over it and spread it. If the sides leave their place on the pan, then pour oil on the edges and a little on the dosa. When roasted, take it off the pan. Serve with coconut chutney.
