PM Modi and Amit Shah meeting on ‘Lockdown 5’

(Kajal Singh intern journalist): On Thursday, Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to the Chief Ministers of all the states on the phone and asked for their opinion on what to do and what not to do after lockdown four.


New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah’s meeting last about two hours regarding lockdown 5. Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gaba, Home Secretary AK Bhalla, and PMO officials were also present in this meeting held at PM’s residence.


According to sources, during this period, Home Minister Amit Shah also gave the details of the discussion with PM Modi to the Chief Ministers of the states. Further, the strategy of lockdown was discussed in the meeting.


Let us tell you that the fourth phase of lockdown is being completed on May 31. In such a situation, the government is constantly churning on how the situation should be in the future. Before deciding whether to continue the lockdown or not, the Center has sought their suggestions from all the states.

Significantly, due to the Corona virus epidemic, the lockdown has been going on since March 25 across the country. To prevent the epidemic, the government has extended the lockdown period four times so far. However, at present, Corona is showing its more frightening form. Now about 7 thousand corona cases are coming up daily in the country.
