(Priyanka Gupta, Intern Journalist)Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made history on 5 August in Ramnagri Ayodhya. He reached Ramnagari Ayodhya from Lakhanpuri i.e. Lucknow. Narendra Modi, who brought special gifts to Ramlala, became the first Prime Minister of the country who saw Ramlala along with the Hanumangarhi temple in Ramnagari.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was worshiping in the temple of Ramlala in Ayodhya, also applied soil on his forehead during the Bhoomi Pujan after laying the foundation stone of the grand Ram temple in the Ramjanmabhoomi courtyard. PM Modi worshiped the land for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Earlier, PM Modi saw Lord Hanuman at Hanuman Garhi and Lord Shri Ram in the Ramlala temple courtyard.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ayodhya after 28 years. He is the first Prime Minister of the country to visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. This is the first time in the country when a Prime Minister has visited Hanumangadi in Ayodhya. With this, Narendra Modi’s name has also been registered as the first Prime Minister to attend the inaugural function of a temple symbolizing the preservation of the country’s cultural heritage. He pledged them all and fulfilled his resolve.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ayodhya for the first time in 1992, 28 years ago. At that time he was involved in the tricolor journey led by the then BJP President Dr. Murali Manohar Joshi and reached the city of Lord Rama as an associate of Dr. Joshi.
The trip was taken by the BJP to remove Article 370 from Kashmir. A year after the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ramnagri Ayodhya and laid the foundation stone along with worshiping the land of Shri Ram temple. During this time he also released a postage stamp on the Ram temple here.
