(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); Today is the second day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Gujarat. On the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary, Modi will launch the country’s first sea-plane service near the Statue of Unity at Kevadia in Narmada district today. Modi will travel from Sea Plane to Sabarmati River Front in Ahmedabad to Kevadia Dam. The 220 km journey from Sea Plane will be completed in just 45 minutes. Modi addressed the Unity Day program in Kevadia today. Earlier, he paid tribute to Patel by offering water and flowers to the Statue of Unity and bowed down to him.
Prime Minister attended the parade of unity day. The parade was attended by personnel from Gujarat Police, Central Reserve Armed Forces, Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, CISF, and National Security Guards. Modi administered the oath of unity to the soldiers. Cultural programs followed, and Air Force fighter jets also performed. Modi is visiting Gujarat for the first time during the Corona era. On Friday, on the first day of the tour, he launched 16 projects worth Rs 1000 crore around the Statue of Unity in Kevadia in 9 hours. During the inauguration of the jungle safari, he was entertained with parrots.
