In this sequence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday held a virtual meeting with three teams of scientists preparing the COVID19 vaccine. This year, the world is facing only hope from vaccines, although in order to get rid of it, research is going on in many countries around the world. As of now, many vaccines have been developed and their trial is also in the final stages.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with three teams preparing the covid-19 vaccine through video conferencing. It also said that people should explain in simple language about the Covid-19 vaccine and all the facts related to it.
During this time he praised the three vaccine-developing companies – Genova Biopharma, Biological E, and Dr. Reddy’s who are involved in the process of developing the vaccine.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Modi also visited Serum Institute in Pune. He also reviewed the Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad and Bharat Biotech facility in Hyderabad and reviewed the development and manufacturing process of the vaccine. The ruling party of South Korea said that the country would have to deal with additional millions of doses of coronavirus vaccine so that 30 million people could get sufficient doses.
UK Health Minister Matt Hancock said, “We are buying 2 million doses of Moderna Vaccine to make it easily available to all the people of the country who are suffering from the epidemic.” According to Uganda President Museveni, the testing process for the covid-19 vaccine will be started in the country from next month. New York senator and Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer tweeted, “It will be distributed free to Americans as soon as the covid-19 vaccine is ready.”
A panel of US advisors will meet on Tuesday to discuss the covid-19 vaccine. In this, it is to be determined which group will be primary among those receiving its dose. In the Philippines, a large population is expected to wait for one year and till 2022 for a shot of coronavirus vaccine. This information was given by the country’s Epidemic Response Team on Monday, as the government has given priority to the first health workers and groups in the country who are more at risk due to the disease.
