(Pooja Dubey, Intern Journalist) Rajasthan: The Ashok Gehlot camp MLA who is staying at a hotel on the Jaipur-Delhi highway is being shifted to Jaisalmer on Friday. The legislators were earlier staying at the Fairmont Hotel in Jaipur. All have left for the airport from here.

The legislators were staying at the Fairmont Hotel from July 13 after Sachin Pilot and 18 other Congress legislators rebelled against the government. The reason for the shift to MLAs is not known.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday indicated that he would seek a confidence vote in the assembly session and claimed that the MLAs were being offered money to change sides.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot says that ‘The rate of horse-trading has increased since the announcement of the beginning of the assembly session on 14 August. They have decided to shift all the MLAs to Jaisalmer, 550 km from the capital Jaipur. Rs 10 crore was being given as first installment and Rs 15 crore as the second installment. Now, these rates have increased.’
