Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will stage a dharna at Rajghat in Delhi on Wednesday amid heavy power cuts in Punjab. It is being told that the Chief Minister of Punjab, along with all his MLAs, will stage a sit-in at the Rajghat in Delhi and lead the strike. During this time, he will also provide complete information about the power crisis of Punjab, the movement of goods trains, and the state of essential supplies.

Demonstration of farmers across Punjab continues against the agricultural bills passed by the Parliament last month and is also supported by the Punjab government. The movement of goods trains has been affected due to the farmers’ strike in Punjab, due to which coal production has also been stopped due to lack of coal in the 5 thermal plants of the state. This has now created a power crisis.

It is being told that on all these issues, the Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder wanted to meet President Ramnath Kovind in Delhi along with all the MLAs of the state, but the President was not given time to meet. Angered by this, Captain Amarinder Singh has said to sit on dharna with all the MLAs.

These days, power cuts are taking place across Punjab for three to four hours. Along with this, there is also a shortage of manure in the state. Also, the stock of goods in industries has started increasing. On these issues, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder will hold a dharna at Rajghat on the morning of 4 November. Significantly, farmers are continuously agitating against agricultural bills. Due to this, the movement of trains in Punjab is at a standstill. Due to this, the problem may become even more serious in the coming times due to non-movement of luggage with common train passengers.
