(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: The new power transformer of 3 crores rupees started after 9 days in Dada Nagar Industrial Area, again deteriorated on Wednesday evening. The production of 3000 factories in the industrial area has come to a standstill since 4:00 pm. There was no electricity here till late at night. At the same time, the oil fir power transformer has been sent to Agra for testing.
Distressed entrepreneurs say that for 9 consecutive days the power transformer of Dada Nagar 132 KV transmission substation is damaged due to power transformer. The power transformer was switched on, On Tuesday morning. Three crores new 63 MVA trip transformer installed at 4:00 pm on Wednesday evening went bad. The power transformer could not run despite the repeated current. Steel City, Dada Nagar, Polymer, Udyog Kunj, and Saraimeetam substations along with Dada Nagar Division came to a standstill. Late-night the polymer and Udyog Kunj substations were commissioned by another power transformer. This brought some relief to the entrepreneurs yet the production of 3000 factories Stalled till late night. This could not produce entrepreneurs.
