(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind has approved three bills related to agrarian reform. All three bills have now become law with the signature of the President. These include the Agricultural Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, Agriculture (Empowerment and Protection) Price Assurance and Agreement Bill on Agricultural Services, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill. These three Bills were passed by Parliament in the monsoon session amid strong opposition from the opposition. In the current speech, there has been a ruckus about the agricultural bills. Along with farmers, leaders of opposition parties are joining the demonstrations against them in the streets.

Along with this, President Ramnath Kovind also approved the Jammu and Kashmir Official Language Bill-2020. After this approval, this bill has taken the form of law.
Through this law, Kashmiri, Dogri, and Hindi have been included in the list of official languages ​​of Jammu and Kashmir apart from Urdu and English. The Parliament passed the Jammu and Kashmir Official Language Bill during the recent monsoon session. According to the gazette notification issued, the President has approved the Jammu and Kashmir Official Language Bill -2020 on September 26.
