The festival of Durga Puja, which has been going on for centuries, is celebrated all over India, especially in eastern India for ten days. During the festival, devotees worship Mother Goddess for strength, wisdom and good fortune as Goddess Durga, goddess Saraswati of wisdom and wisdom, and Goddess Lakshmi, the prosperity-goddess. Durga Puja is a symbol of respect for the women in our tradition and on this occasion we all should take a firm resolve to empower the women.
