Now from June 1, the northeastern state of Mizoram is going to increase VAT on petrol and diesel. The Mizoram government has announced that from June 1, VAT will be increased at the rate of 2.5 percent on petrol and 5 percent on diesel. After this, the prices of petrol and diesel will increase in the state.

After this VAT increase, the price of petrol in Mizoram will increase from Rs 66.54 per liter to Rs 69.87 per liter and diesel prices will increase from Rs 60.49 to Rs 62 per liter.
