Prince Harry took offense at brother’s advice, says book

(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): Prince Harry of Britain took exception to what he felt was the snobbishness of Prince William as he told his brother to take as much time as you need to get to know the girl while he was dating Meghan Markle, a new book claims.

Harry and his wife, Meghan, distanced themselves from this book called “Finding Freedom”, saying they were not consulted and made no contributions to the biography. The book records the time when Harry and Meghan were dating and William decided to make sure the American actress had the right ideas

“Don’t feel you need to rush this,” William told Harry, according to sources cited by the book. “Take as much time as you need to get to know this girl.”

In the last two words “this girl”, Harry detected a sense of snobbishness and that Harry no longer believed like he had to look after it. The couple and their son, Archie, currently live in Los Angeles after stepping down in March from royal duties to pursue new careers. In January they announced plans to live and maintain a more independent life.

In May 2018, Harry and Meghan married in a ceremony heralded at the time as infusing the British empire with a burst of Hollywood glamour and modernity, making them one of the world’s biggest celebrity couples.
