(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); The Indian Army has foiled a terrorist attack plot like Pulwama in Kashmir. A statement issued by the army said that the Indian Army recovered 52 kg of explosives in the Karewa area of Gadikal in Kashmir on Thursday and foiled a Pulwama-style terror attack.
He said that the place where the explosives were found was near the national highway and was close to the site of last year’s Pulwama terror attack. According to officials, explosives were found in a water tank in the area during a search operation around 8 am. Because of this, the army succeeded in thwarting a major conspiracy.
“There were a total of 416 packets of explosives recovered weighing 125 grams,” said an official. He said 50 other detonators were later recovered from another Syntex tank from another location nearby. These explosives are named Super-90 and S-90.
