(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Pali: A shocking case has come to light in Mandigadh village of Samdari police station area of Pali district of Rajasthan. Here, a girl got such a punishment for love marriage that the people of the society did not reach the funeral for her death. In such a situation, the dead body remained at home for three days. When the people of the society did not come, finally the police, with the help of other villagers, performed the last rites of the dead body.
According to the police, Bhanwarlal Bhil, a resident of Mandigadh, had a love marriage to Madhu Bhil, a resident of Abu Road in 2015. After this, the people of the society, being angry with the love marriage, boycotted them both. Fearing the society, the two moved to Kerala and resided there. They also had four children. Some time ago they came to Pali. Madhu, deceased for the past few days, was ill. In such a situation, her husband was taken to Bangar Hospital in Pali for treatment. While on treatment, Madhu died on Friday in the hospital.
The body of Bhanwarlal’s wife was brought to Mandigarh on Saturday morning. Due to being ostracized from society, other family members and people of the society did not come for the last rites. Due to this, the body was lying. Bhanwarlal kept celebrating the people of the society repeatedly, but no one came. Being alone, he could not perform the last rites. Finally, on Monday morning, the dead body was left at home and reached Bhanwarlal police station and sought help for the funeral of the dead body. On this, the policemen took the help of the former sarpanch, some social workers, and villagers and completed the funeral procession. In such a situation, the body was cremated by digging a pit from JCB.
