In this, he surrounded the central government on the issue of demonetization and called it a decision taken against the poor. Rahul said that only the rich have benefited from demonetization.
The Congress MP said that demonetization was an attack on the poor-farmer-laborers of India. At eight o’clock on the night of 8 November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi closed 500-1000 notes, after which the whole country stood in front of the bank. He asked if black money was erased from it? Did people benefit from it? There is no answer to both. Rahul alleged that demonetization only benefited the rich.

In the video, Rahul said, ‘Prime Minister canceled 500-1000 notes. The entire Hindustan stood in front of the bank. You put your money inside your bank. Does the first question erase black money? no answer. Second question: How did the poor people of India benefit from demonetization? The answer is nothing. ‘
The Congress leader said, “Between 2016-18, 50 lakh people lost jobs. So who got the benefit? The biggest billionaires of India benefited. how? The government used this money to forgive these people by withdrawing money from your pocket, out of your homes. 68,607 crore debt of 50 big industrialists was waived. Not a single rupee of debt of farmers, laborers, and small shopkeepers was forgiven. ‘
