Rajasthan police recover Rs 1.25 Crore

Chittorgarh: The money was being brought into the city for effecting a real estate transaction. 
Additional Director General of ATS and Special Operations Group of Rajasthan Police followed two cars suspected to be carrying large amounts of cash. An amount of Rs 1.25 crore was recovered from three people in these two cars.
The vehicles were intercepted at Paras chauraha near Hiran Magri Sector 11.
SOG team set up a blockade at Paras chauraha when they were informed that two cars carrying a large amount of cash (hawala transaction) will be transiting through the area.

Police Inspector Shyam Singh Ratnu and Sub Inspector Subodh Jangid of SOG led this team that intercepted a Hyundai i20 and a Duster car. There were 3 people in these two cars. The cash has been sent to the Income Tax department and those apprehended have been taken to the police station for interrogation.
Following the turmoil at the government level and allegations of horse-trading and the audiotape scandal, SOG is active in the entire state and each monetary transaction information of large value is being tracked.
