Rajnarayan continued to struggle against life’s inequality: Akhilesh Yadav

Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): On the 103rd birth anniversary of Lokbandhu Rajnarayan, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav laid a wreath on his portrait at the Samajwadi Party office on Monday. He said Rajnarayan struggled against injustice and inequality for a lifetime. He continued to voice the interests of the poor and the weaker sections of the society. The Samajwadi Party is determined to follow their path.

Akhilesh Yadav said that Rajnarayan remained dedicated to socialist ideas throughout his life. Influenced by Dr. Lohia, he continued to suffer jail torture even from independence movement to independent India. As the Leader of Opposition and Member of Parliament in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, where he surrounded the government on issues of public interest, he also introduced many healthy democratic traditions.

Meanwhile, SP chairman and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav met Kanpur city youth scientist Jitendra Yadav on Monday and discussed his proposed project. Apart from these, cyclists Dharmendra Yadav, Parmeet Yadav, Manish Yadav, Dheeraj Yadav and Jitendra Kumar, who came from Siswa Bazar, Maharajganj, also met.
