(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Tehran: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday discussed issues related to increased bilateral relations with the Iranian Defence Minister and regional security. Rajnath tweeted that he had a very meaningful meeting with Iranian Defence Minister Brigadier-General Amir Hatami in Tehran. We discussed regional security and bilateral operation including Afghanistan.
In another tweet about the meeting, the meeting of the two Ministers was very cordial. Rajnath’s visit to Iran is very significant as he arrived a day after expressing India’s concern over the situation in the Persian Gulf and calling for all countries of the region to resolve differences on the basis of honor through dialogue.
