(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Hamirpur: Strict action has been taken from the directorate level against the Rath CDPO, which makes recovery at home from Anganwadi workers. The director of the department has Ordered and FIR suspending the CDPO. After this, the District Programme Officer in the charge has directed to file an FIR against the CDPO in the Rath police station.
In Rath, the video of Uma Rajput, CDPO of child development services and nutrition department, recovering money from to Anganwadi workers in her house went viral. BJP District President Brijesh Gupta complaint to district program officer Surjit Singh for taking action against the corruption-ridden CDPO on the basis of the video.
The district program officer, after the complaint, finds the matter to be correct in the investigation and sent the report of the proceedings to the DM. The DM sent the report to the director of the department recommending the action. District program officer Arijit Singh said that the director of the department suspended CDPO Uma Rajput after the Recommendation of DM.
