Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) Due to the growing demand for CBI investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the Bihar government on Saturday said that they would hand over the Case to CBI if the actor’s father will demand, even as one of the actors’ sister urged pm Modi to intervene. Sushant was found dead at his Mumbai residents on June 14.
While talking to news channels chief minister Nitish Kumar said, if Sushant’s father KK Singh, who had lodged an FIR in Patna, demanded a CBI investigation his government could think of recommending one.
Nitish said that it was the duty of the police to investigate the matter and they are doing that.”Mumbai police should cooperate with Bihar police since a case was lodged by the actor’s Father. Bihar Police is investigating the case with honesty and sincerity. The family should get justice.
“We do not and should not demand CBI inquiry. Bihar police are capable of doing the investigation in the case. A senior IPS officer would be sent to Mumbai for assisting the four-member team” said Bihar’s DGP Gupteshwar Pandey while talking to media persons.
He also dismissed the report the Mumbai police were mistreating Bihar officials. The DGP also said that the police team has recorded the statement of Ashok Kumar ( chef ), Neeraj ( sweeper ), Ankita Lokhandae (ex-girlfriend) Mahesh Shetty (friend), Meetu Singh ( sister ) and Dr. Chawla( doctor) in Mumbai.”Sushant was not the only son of Bihar, but he was also the son of entire India”, he added.
