New Delhi: (Geetesh Ujjainwal, Intern Journalist) Unique ID will be given to the patients undergoing treatment and all their records will be maintained online at the state government-run Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital.
“We have started the new process to make the records completely computerized. Now, patients won’t have to run around carrying heavy files,” said Binay Bhushan, the nodal officer of Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital.
The software has been developed for this purpose and a trial run is being conducted to eliminate any shortcoming, he added. “The entire medical history of the patient, every test report will be available online for patients and doctors by July-end,” he said.
