(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern journalist) Kanpur: Recruitment process of recruitment of about 7400 posts of Sub Inspector and ministerial staff in Uttar Pradesh Police is going to start soon. The number of Sub Inspectors posts will be around 6000. Uttar Pradesh Police and Promotion Board may release advertisements for these posts next week. During the tenure of the present government, nearly 1,37,253 police personnel have been recruited so far.
The Recruitment Board has prepared for the recruitment of 1400 posts in the ministerial staff including steno and accountant along with the posts of 6000 sub-inspectors. Youth recruited in 49,568 posts of soldiers are currently undergoing training. Police training centers in the state are full due to simultaneous recruitment on posts. Apart from this, training is being done in other states and paramilitary forces training centers. The result of the examination for the recruitment of these soldiers was announced in March 2020. The board says that from April 2017 candidates have been selected for 1,37,253 posts in the police department. It also includes the 1,657 posts of deceased dependent quota. Board has no remaining quota of deceased dependent quota yet.
