High intake of tea and coffee is not good for health. It contains caffeine and nicotine. Whereas coffee has twice as much caffeine as tea. According to a research published in the British Journal of Nutrition, drinking coffee early in the morning can increase the risk of diabetes. For this, the researchers tested 29 healthy men and women, who were divided into three teams. During this time the first team was allowed to sleep well at night and sweet water was given to drink in the morning.
Sleep of second team members was interrupted. While in the morning they were also given to drink sweet water. While there was no disturbance in the sleep of the third team members. However, they were given black coffee in the morning before sweet water. The blood of all participants was then examined. According to this result, if sleep is not good at night, it has a limited effect on metabolism. While drinking coffee before breakfast in the morning has negative effects on blood sugar.
