(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Agra: The operation of unauthorized buses is not controlled. The Transport Department is celebrating Road Safety Week until 24 November, but the action is taking place on paper. These buses ferry from more than half a dozen places, including Idgah bus stand, off the highway near the ISBT, but the accountants have kept their eyes closed. Unauthorized buses ply on various routes, including Delhi, Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, near the ISBT. Transport Department to Transport Corporation is not ready to tighten it, due to which there is a huge loss of revenue.
At the same time, unauthorized buses run from the Idgah bus stand for Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dhaulpur, and other routes. The roadways bus driver and the operators have been assaulted, indecency, but everything goes on hold. Unauthorized buses operate on the expressway to countryside routes, but the Transport Department takes some action and makes it mine. Unauthorized buses also operate from Water Works Square, Rambagh Square, Terhi Bagia, Power House Square, Kuberpur, near the flyover of Bhagwan Talkies Crossroads. RTO Enforcement Anil Kumar said that unauthorized buses take regular action. Action has also been taken on more than two dozen buses under Road Safety Week.
