(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Hathras: In the Hathras Gangrape Case district of Uttar Pradesh, there is outrage across the country in the case of the death of a 19-year-old girl due to alleged gangrape and torture in the past. However, the UP police are denying the issue of gangrape in the post mortem report. After the incident on September 14, the victim was admitted for two weeks at the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) here says that the FSL report, based on which the UP police is claiming not to be gang-raped with the girl, samples were taken 11 days after the incident. In such a situation, this report has no value. Dr. Azim Malik, CMO of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), made this statement in a conversation. He said- ‘Samples were taken 11 days after the incident. While the government guidelines clearly state that forensic evidence can be found up to 96 hours after such a crime.
Due to this delay, rape or gang rape cannot be confirmed.”
