(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur : Corona virus cases are increasing worldwide. So far, over 74 lakh people have been infected in India. However, its recovery rate in the country has also gone up to 87.56 percent. Apart from this the death rate is also low here. The Ministry of Health has said that India remains among the countries in the world with the lowest death rate per 10 lakh population from covid. In India, this figure is currently 80 per 10 lakhs.
The reason for this is the strength of immunity. In such a situation, the important question is, what is the scale of checking the immunity level? According to Dr. Neeraj Gupta of Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi, ‘No instrument has been made to check immunity. If someone is healthy, does exercise, yoga, etc. and does not have any disease, then he does not have much problem with immunity. But if there is a disease or if you are taking medicines for cancer or kidney disease then the immunity can be reduced. Also, if you get sick again and again, take care of yourself. Eat fresh food, do yoga, and go outside sparingly and follow the rules.’
Dr. Neeraj Gupta says, ‘If anyone has a cold or cold at this time, then apply the mask in the house too. Those people who have lung-related problems should examine every symptom that comes into the body deeply.
Keep checking the oxygen level with a pulse oximeter. Keep in mind that when a person is going out of the house when it is unlocked, then other family members may be at risk of infection.’ Dr. Neeraj Gupta explains, ‘If going to the cinema hall, then assume that there may be a virus there.
So keep a mask on and keep your hands sanitized, as an infection can occur while getting up from the seat, sitting, or going out.
Ventilation guidelines are provided in the cinema hall. There should be different arrangements for the audience to enter and enter the theater. Also, take care not to rush in from outside or inside a crowd, go inside with patience.’
According to Dr. Neeraj Gupta, ‘The infection that spreads from the hands, not only to the person but also to others.
That is, if a healthy person puts his hands on some contagious place, it can become infected. Similarly, if the same person is infected and is laying hands on different surfaces, then people holding hands on the same surface can become infected. Therefore, it is very important to clean the hands properly. The hands should be rubbed and washed for at least 20 seconds.
Eight steps are said to clean the hands, back and forth, palms and fingers. According to Dr. Neeraj Gupta, ‘It is very important for the common man as well as doctors to wash their hands. After seeing one patient, there should be the cleanliness of the hand in seeing the other patient. If seen, it is very important for everyone from children to old and old to eat or drink or wash their hands when they come from outside. These days hand hygiene is a weapon to escape from the corona. This will not only protect you from corona but also other infectious diseases.’
