(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: the intention of the central government is to attract the meritorious youth to become teachers like doctors and engineers. So, they will be guaranteed scholarships and subsequent jobs during the course. There will be any special focus on students from rural areas.
All the ministry of education will prepare a detailed blueprint of the scheme in the coming days to implement this provision of the National Education policy the government’s original plan is to start a 4 years B.Ed course to attract students. Students taking admission in this will be awarded a scholarship on the basis of merit. Secondary, they will be provided jobs locally after the completion of the course.
Though the scheme will be implemented nationwide, the main focus will be on the rural areas where there is a huge shortage of qualified teachers. According to the education policy, the skin will give qualified candidates a chance to become a teacher at the local level and will be offered as role models among children. The aim is to increase the number of good teachers in government schools and improve their quality. This scheme will be focused on rural areas as well as talented students will be especially motivated to join it.
