The decision has been taken by the district administration after a meeting with school managers and representatives of parent organizations on Wednesday. District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash made it clear that online classes would continue during this period. He asked to make it a priority. DM said that in the first phase, a decision will be taken to open schools for young children after the feedback in class 10 and 12, in the second phase, classes 9 and 11 and in the third phase.
DM said that a medical room should be made in every school. It should have two beds. With the availability of medical facilities, the person having medical information should be present. Suggestions are being sought on this subject by 10 October. Instructions will be issued thereafter. Initially, students of 10th, 12th, then 9th and 11th class will be called. In the third phase, other children will be called to the school. Many parent organizations are insisting on not starting schools right now. These organizations demand that until the vaccine arrives, the lives of children should not be endangered. The conditions are not good right now. It will not be right to risk the lives of children.
At the moment, schools should not be opened. Director Rashmi Pathak stated that she had sought consent from the parents.
Parents have disagreed with the majority. Because of this, we have decided not to start school at the moment.
