Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) A station house officer was arrested after an audio clip in which he was pressurizing an accused woman for establishing sexual relation and in return, he will favour her went viral. He was posted at Dharmpura police station in Rohtas district.
A case under section 354 A ( sexual harassment ) of IPC was registered with Sanjhauli police station SHO Kamkhya Narayan Yadav, on the statement of the victim after which the accused was suspended and arrested from the police station premises, Bikramganj SDPO informed Raj Kumar on Monday.
He was forwarded to judicial court where he was released on bail. After a clash between two families in Tilai village, both parties registered cases with Dharmpura police. The woman was an accused in a case registered under section 307 ( attempt to murder ) of the IPC and arms act.
