(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Noida: Tea-paratha shops opening at night are becoming a headache for the police in the city. Anti-social elements are gathering here and are carrying out the crime.
After the expose of the Akshay Kalra murder case, the police have now become increasingly watchful in these places. Police are keeping a close watch on shops opening late at night. SPC Noida Rajneesh Verma has ordered the closure of such shops especially in Kotwali Sector-58 and Sector-24 area after 9 pm. It has also been seen in those areas for some time, but shops are opening till late night in other areas.
Akshay Kalra arrived by his car on the night of September 2 at the tea shop that opened late at night near the Electronic City metro station in Sector-63. Late in the night, he stopped his car and drank tea there. At a cigarette shop near that shop, the crooks were already present with their car and smoking cigarettes. From there, Akshay was Reiki and the miscreants were behind. The incident was carried out after following a kilometer from there. Police investigation earlier revealed that Akshay’s location is near Sector-63 and stayed there for about 10 minutes.
In view of this, the police were already suspicious. After the miscreants have been caught, there has been a case of lagging behind. Gautam Budh Nagar Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Luv Kumar said that the guideline is being followed. The shops are eyeing the shops that open late at night. Such places will be identified. The police will take strict steps to stop criminal activities.
