Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) Shyam Rajak joined RjD just a day after being sacked from the Nitish Kumar led NDA cabinet, he formally joined RJD in the presence of former chief minister Rabri Devi, her younger son Tejashwi Yadav and party’s state unit president Jagdanand Singh.

Rajak was removed from the cabinet and was also expelled from the party on Sunday for six-years for his anti-party activities. Rajak has also served as a minister in the RJD government, had joined JDU in 2009.

Recently, he had been feeling neglected at the party. “I never compromised with the principles of social justice and secularism which we learned from our party leader Lalu Prasad,” said Rajak to media persons after joining RJD.

He was critical of the JD ( U ) over the manner he was removed from the party bypassing constitutional provision and norms of the party .”It is quite ridiculous to know that I was expelled from the party within 10 minutes yesterday night. I am a member of the national council and was also a prosper of Nitish Kumar during his election party chief. They expelled me without following the provisions of the party’s constitution,” he said.

“It is his homecoming. We are happy. He follows the principles of social justice and secularism While welcoming him to RJD, Said Tejashwi Yadav while welcoming him RJD.
