Lucknow. In the matter of uploading the controversial song on YouTube, the police have arrested the singer Varun Upadhyay alias Bahar. The police arrested the songwriter of the controversial song Mukesh Pandey and Santosh Yadav along with Varun. In the song uploaded to YouTube by Varun, controversial lyrics were used to describe Jai Shri Ram.
SSP Kalanidhi Nathani told that Rajesh Verma, living in Lucknow, had written a song with Santosh and Mukesh from Gonda, who was sung by Varun. Nathani said that further action will be taken by recording all the statements in the matter.
After apologizing, the apology was sought
On the other hand, Varun’s father told that the person talked to the company when he knew about the feeling of being hurt by the song. After this, the controversial song was blocked. He claimed that Varun had also apologized for this. He told that the Lucknow police had taken him into custody at 3 o’clock in the night.
